The Bike Shop will be putting on bike repair clinics once again!
These will be introductory clinics once a week for 4 weeks. We will cover brakes, shifting, hub adjusts and routine bicycle maintenance!
There are three sessions: Tuesdays 9am, Tuesdays 5:30pm, Wednesdays 5:30pm.
All sessions will last 1.5 hours, the first week will be the week of 5/6.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org for any further questions and to reserve a spot!
Every year, the bike shop changes managers, the applications to be next years managers are now open!
If you will be a student next year and have familiarity with the bike shop, bike shops in general, or a passion for cycling, we encourage you to apply!
There are two different managers, the Operations Manager and the Business Manager. The Operations Manager is sort of like the head mechanic, responsible for training mechanics, scheduling, and keeping our inventory stocked. The Business manager is responsible for tracking our finances and taking charge of bike shop promotion. Both positions are salaried, the Ops Manager for 14 hours per week and the Business Manager for 6 hours per week.
Learn more and apply on Handshake, be sure to apply by 4/14!
If you have any questions you can contact the current Operations Manager, Oliver, at email@example.com, or the current Business Manager, Patrice at firstname.lastname@example.org
The ASUW Bike Shop is hiring one mechanic starting spring quarter. If you like bikes we’d love to see your application at jobs.asuw.org.
Mechanical experience is a plus, but not required.
Be sure to get in your application by March 3rd. Interviews will be on Friday, March 8th, times to be arranged.
There has been a lack of interest in the 1pm session for our bike maintenance clinics we are starting this week, so we’ve decided to move it to 4:30pm.
If you are able to make this time and would like to learn in a more focused environment about bike maintenance, contact email@example.com soon!
The 3pm session is unaffected and will be held at the same time, so need to worry if you are signed up for it.
If you’re looking for a good quality, affordable helmet, come to the ASUW Bike Shop! Happy new year huskies!
Hope everyone is refreshed after 3 weeks of break and ready to get back to the grind.
Our hours are reduced during winter quarter due to limited business and so we can have more help during the busier spring and fall quarters. This quarter we will be open Monday to Thursday: 11 am to 4 pm
We will be offering after hours clinics on Fridays this quarter starting week 4, stay tuned for more details!
Hey UW bike community,
This fall quarter we’ll be open on Monday and Tuesday of finals week for our normal 11 – 5 hours, then we will be closed for the rest of break!
Good luck on finals!
The Bike Shop is currently deliberating the use of a new system, and we would like to get input from our customers! If you have time, please consider filling out this survey. It only takes 1 minute and it would help a lot!
